Cate’s Bootcamp in Tirana
For a while now, we have been living in unpredictable times. It has been difficult to find the motivation and inspiration to work. However, an aspect that we have missed the most is networking. This hybrid situation of working has definitely changed how we link with one another. That is why, if you find yourself stuck, all you might need is a leader to walk you through the process to develop essential skills for this new environment.
In our next event, we are introducing you to Cate’s Bootcamp in Tirana with the brilliant Cate Luzio. She will be helping you to set clear, actionable goals and map out a plan to work and grow in this hybrid working environment. This event will be focused on the Banking and Financial Services Industry, from line managers to c-suite leaders. So, here is your chance to work on your professional development and build better client management amid this new way of work.
About Cate Luzio
After spending two decades in financial services, in 2018, Cate decided to launch Luminary. She found the motivation by seeing firsthand the disproportionate number of men to women and women of color in the senior ranks. That is when she understood that the problem was a lack of investment and development of talent in females rather than a lack of talent itself. So, Luminary became a membership-based career and personal growth platform and collaboration hub, created to address the systemic challenges impacting women across all industries and sectors.
However, Cate has had an incredible career even before Luminary.
Her career started in China, where she worked in tech. Then, in her early years, she worked in consumer and wholesale banking for Bank of America in Latin America. Later on, she used to be the Global Head of Multinational Corporate Banking for HSBC, managing more than 2,000 employees worldwide, and Head of Multinational Corporate Banking at J.P. Morgan EMEA based in London. Currently, Cate serves on the National Board for Girls Inc., is a WE.NYC mentor, and sits on the Boards of Pomp & Whimsy and WaterAid.
Among her many achievements, she was named American Banker’s ‘Most Powerful Women in Banking’ list for multiple years in a row, is a three-time Financial Times Global Diversity Champion, and a two-time Yahoo Finance Diversity Hero.
Cate was also recognized as one of Forbes’ Next 1000 Entrepreneurs in 2021 and named to Inc.’s Top 100 Female Founders in 2019. She has been featured as an expert in top-tier financial, business and lifestyle media including Bloomberg, CNBC, Fast Company, Yahoo Finance, CNN, WSJ, Forbes, Inc., Entrepreneur, InStyle, TheStreet, Thrive Global, Robb Report, and Fortune. She is currently a contributing writer to Fast Company, Business Insider, and Worth.
