On June 16-17, Network Tribe, in cooperation with Vodafone, hosted the first hybrid training in Albania to discuss fiscal procedures through Vodafone eBusiness- and it was a success! Since January 1st, 2021, the new fiscal process has started between taxpayers and public institutions in Albania. As the legislation regarding this process has changed, especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is essential to train and support businesses to adapt to the new system. That is why Vodafone is bringing an innovative solution with Vodafone eBusiness.
Vodafone eBusiness in a Nutshell
Vodafone eBusiness is an innovative way to simplify the fiscal process of tax invoices and declaration of sales. All this can be done directly from the eBusiness app in real-time. The app is linked directly to the General Directorate of Taxes in accordance with Albanian legislation. In a nutshell, it is a start towards the much-needed digitalization of business in Albania.
What was discussed during the training?
This event brought together 68 online participants and 27 onsite participants from businesses throughout Albania. A special guest in this event was Aikaterini Stathaki, the CEO of Vodafone Albania. They got to discuss with one of the best tax experts in Albania, Mirjeta Emini, in two sessions. With a solid background in tax legislation in Albania and Kosovo, national and international accounting standards, Mirjeta has been an excellent advisor to domestic and foreign companies.
In this training, she addressed the main issues of the legislation on Fiscal system in Albania and the new requirements of this legislation. In addition, she also discussed and answered questions regarding the main elements of fiscal procedures, the procedures to be followed, its implementation in practice, and how Vodafone will facilitate the entire transition with a digital solution such as Vodafone eBusiness.
We can proudly say that this event was a success and a step closer to our goal of creating a new business climate in Albania. It was a pleasure to see the interest that the participants expressed and to further strengthen our network during this first hybrid training in Albania.
